Legal
Privacy Policy
Version 1.0 · Effective July 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what [Legal Entity Name] (“Neubeat”, “we”, “us”), based in [City], Nepal, collects about you, why, and who we share it with. It forms part of our Base Terms.
1. Who this applies to
Neubeat is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us data, contact us and we will remove it.
2. What we collect
- Account details — your name, email address, country, and (for producers) your stage name and profile.
- Transactions — the licences you buy or sell, the contract snapshots frozen at purchase, and payout records.
- Usage — activity such as plays, pages viewed, clicks, and scrolling, including recordings of how you interact with our pages, used to run and improve the marketplace. When you are signed in, this activity may be linked to your account through an internal identifier.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers we rely on to run Neubeat, and only as far as each needs to do its job:
- Khalti — our payment processor, to take payments and issue payouts.
- Our email / one-time-passcode provider — to send sign-in codes and transactional email.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS S3) — to store uploaded audio, artwork, and licence files.
- ACRCloud — to check uploaded audio against known recordings for rights and originality.
- Microsoft Clarity — an analytics service that records how our pages are used (including session recordings) so we can find and fix problems. Data is processed by Microsoft, including in the United States.
4. Cookies
Neubeat uses first-party session cookies to keep you signed in and to run the site. We also use Microsoft Clarity, an analytics service that sets its own cookies and records how our pages are used — including mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, and session recordings — so we can find and fix problems. We do not set advertising cookies, and we do not sell your data or use it for cross-site advertising.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your account and transaction records for as long as your account exists and for as long afterwards as we need them to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Contract snapshots and ledger entries are kept as part of the sale record.
6. Your choices
You can ask us to correct your account details or to close your account. Some records tied to completed sales are kept even after an account is closed, because they are part of a legal and financial trail.
